What does our farm sell?

We currently sell custom grass fed beef shares and pastured free range chicken eggs.
Why buy pastured grass fed beef and eggs?

Pasture-raised animals roam freely in their natural environment where they're able to eat nutritious grasses and other plants that their bodies are adapted to digest. In addition to dramatically improving the welfare of farm animals, pasturing also helps reduce environmental damage, and yields meat, eggs, and dairy products that are tastier and more nutritious than foods produced on factory farms. Pastured raised livestock yield better quality and are healthier. Pastured beef is lower in calories and total fat as well as higher in vitamins, omega 3, and omega 6 than commercially produced livestock. Source: sustainabletable.org
How many pounds of meat will my freezer hold?

A rule of thumb is one cubic foot of freezer space for each 35-40 pounds of cut and wrapped meat. Allow slightly more space when meat is packaged in odd shapes (roasts).
How do I place an order?

Beef is seasonal ~ please call or email for availability. When we have share availability the options will be listed on the website in the store. You will have to contact me either by phone 615.554.7408 or email JTLfarmsTN@gmail.com in order to reserve your share as we only have limited shares each season.
